The INCHSTONES Podcast

For the parent learning a new language after a diagnosis. For the friend who wants to show up but does not know what to say. For the caregiver whose child needs help with nearly everything, and for the autistic adult whose own account of life deserves to be heard. INCHSTONES makes room for all of them without treating their experiences as interchangeable.

I’m Sarah Kernion, a writer, advocate and mother of three, including two children with profound, nonspeaking autism. On the podcast, I speak with parents, autistic people, clinicians, educators and advocates about the lives behind the labels: communication, family relationships, therapy, grief, joy, adulthood and the small changes that matter enormously at home.
